Q1: Can I speak to a lawyer on a no obligation basis?
A: Yes. Our lawyers ( if available) will talk to you on a no obligation basis. In fact a telephone discussion before a formal meeting is useful in assessing the urgency of your matter.
Q2: How do I find out what your hourly charges are?
A: Please feel free to call our solicitors who will explain our charges; which vary depending on the nature of your query. Detailed Costs estimates are given on a formal basis once all relevant information is gathered.
Q3: Can I email my query?
Q4: Is there parking near your offices?
A: There is free street parking subject to spaces, as well as a number of NCP car parks. Please access the map here.
Q5: At what stage do I become liable to pay for the services of a lawyer?
A: You will become liable upon confirmation of your instructions to proceed. If a matter is terminated midway a transaction then a reduced rate will apply subject to the time actually spent on your case.
Q6: What are your opening hours?
A: 9.15am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday
Q7: Will you take on my case if I am out of the locality?
A: Yes. We have clients nationwide and abroad. Communications commonly take place via email, post and telephone so that personal attendances are usually unnecessary and kept to a minimum.
Q8: I have assets abroad. How do I know whether to use a UK based or international lawyer?
A: Please speak to our lawyers as specialist legal advice should be sought for particular circumstances.
